State of CO releases flood debris landfill locations

In response to the flooding damage in Colorado from the September 2013 storms, the state of Colorado is making some temporary changes to the guidelines for responding to the damage.  While most of the guidelines pertain to hazardous material disposal and proper protocol professional flood cleanup companies can take in order to timely and safely respond to this crisis, there was one bit of information we wanted to share.

Below is a link to a map released by the Governor’s office showing the locations of land fills that are accepting flood debris from the storm.

As you can see below, no matter where you are in the state, there should be a landfill close by…
